I had an absolute blast at the Yelp Elite Event! Everything was delicious, and here are some highlights: Main: PERi Q Platters (non-spicy) This limited-time flavour is a must-try! The chicken was tender, with a sweet and spicy kick. Perfect for dipping in any of their Peri-Peri sauces, from ... mild to super spicy! Sides: Spiced Rice Packed with flavour, mixed with bell peppers and spices. It’s the perfect complement to your meal. Dessert: Naughty Natas Similar to Portuguese egg tart - Flaky crust filled with custard and caramel — sweet! Beverages: Sangria Refreshing and just right for a summer evening. Loved their spacious indoor area and the beautiful outdoor patio with brick and greenery—perfect for summer hangouts! I left with a bottle of XX Hot Piquante sauce, ready for some grilling adventures. To only get 1 chicken, small fires and small bowl of rice and a few pieces of bread and 5 wings for 65$ is crazy. The chicken is alright but you can literally get the same at Costco with the nandos sauce for 16$ for it to taste the exactly ... the same. I wish I could rate this 0 stars. The restaurant was boiling hot, and they left the uber eats ringing playing for 10 minutes straight. Ordered a chicken sandwich and peri fries, which they forgot about and I waited a full 40 minutes while other customers got their food. I ... wasn’t even going to write a review, until I got home and saw the world’s wimpiest piece of chicken in my sandwich. I cannot believe that there is any world in which this micro piece of chicken took 40 minutes to cook. We ordered a whole chicken with rice and potato wedges today, the price is not bad, only $32 plus taxes. The chicken was well cooked, not dry at all, you get your own utensils and they bring the food to you, it’s like a fast food place but you get a ... bit of service, they give you cold water without charging you. What more can we ask for this price? I mean today in Richmond, two bowls of pho will cost you $38 plus taxes and tips, very expensive.
