Delta Regina - Regina, Saskatchewan

Time for a complete renovation of the hotel and a talk with city council about the surrounding sidewalks and roads. Positives: excellent customer service (we needed to move to another room), great location, neat that's it's the 2nd tallest building in Regina Negatives: for a building built in 1988 it is showing ... its age, the rooms were old, small and dirty, hot water was intermittent in the shower (GF was very upset and asked the front desk to move us, something about her hair for the wedding lol) rooms were 1912 to 2305. Old room had a comically small closet, the new room was the same. Same goes for cleanliness of the couches in both rooms had to put towel down to sit (all you need to do is wash the removalable covers). As for the talk with Regina city council the surrounding areas of the hotel are somewhat dangerous for walking due to the condition of the sidewalks and roads. People with mobility issues take note, actually anyone walking should be aware. Read more

What a fabulous experience. A clean and upscale place in the heart of town. The conference halls are a great and open space! Sadly 1919 doesn't have any halal options.

So, after being hosed over $500 a few weeks ago for cancelling our room over 24 hours in advance. We are in Regina at the SAME HOTEL we had booked. For just over $500/night we were expecting something decent. Very disappointing. The parkade that you pay $26/night to park in, ... is sketchy and the parking spots are so small. The suite- outdated and is on par for a suite at the sandman hotel which you can get at a fraction of the price. Save yourself a few bucks and book elsewhere- the double tree down the street looks nice. We would go elsewhere but would get charged for the second night here regardless. The only reason we booked here after being hosed was because my boyfriend thought the room would be nice, we like the casino so location was good. We had a two night stay and our room was clean. The beds are very comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had our breakfast at the hotel, they offer buffet or you can select from the menu. We ... definitely stay there again. Read more

I want to love this hotel, the rooms are a great size, and the location is amazing for hockey at the Co-operators centre. Where it goes downhill is the service from the manager. We stayed for 3 nights. On the 2nd day my son wanted to sleep on the pull out ... couch. He opened it, to find multiple mouse feces, all over the bed, and a lot under the mattress. When I called the front desk they sent a service staff member who took control and immediately said she would get her manager. The manager came and moved me rooms. We had to repack all of our things and move, myself and a 9 year old with 4 days of food and clothing… (which we were happy to do as we were grossed out). When I checked out I thought the hotel would would offer the room for free that previous night or a discount for the stay. They did not. I did not get an apology I only received a “I will get the manager to call.” No manager called. No email. Nothing. At the rate the rooms are I expected that someone would reach out, especially as a Marriott member. I had to email the following Thursday. To which I got a reply they I could get $79.50, or 6000 Marriott points ($60) back from our $565 bill. The fact that I had to reach out is what irritates me the most. I have never once complained about a room, or honestly anything, but this was to gross to not say anything. I am thoroughly disappointed in the manager. When someone experiences this, they shouldn’t have to be the one to reach out four days later and only get $79.50 back.
