Italian Star Deli - Regina, Saskatchewan

This business is a true start of Regina. I’ve been here for over 25 years and I’m so happy I’ve gotten to see it grow. Staff are warm, funny, kind and helpful. Their new space is still warm and welcoming like their last location, just bigger and that much more ... space for really delicious imports. I’d recommend any rest or prep packaged sandwiches. Came in for some ingredients for a proper Italian Sandwich. This place did not disappoint! Super friendly and helpful staff, quality ingredients.

Tried this locally-loved and recommended spot for lunch and was very happy with the result! It's an Italian grocery store that also has a fantastic deli. Everything was made in house and was very fresh - we had meat sandwiches and pizza but there was lots of selection for non-meat ... options. Shared the Hawaiian pizza and Italian sandwich - both were great! Lunch time is super busy with lots of workers coming in to grab a quick lunch to go, but they were well staffed and ready for it. Nice small store but on the expensive end for similar stores. The olives and olive oils were ridiculously expensive, and you can get high-quality similar products from Middle Eastern stores and even costoc (for the olive oil) for a fraction of the price. Some oil brands were identical, actually ... in other stores with 50% less in price. It is worth a visit, though, as it is unique to Regina. Read more

The store is so nice & can really feel a sense of community in it. I picked up some pizza dough to make homemade pizzas with my family & it’s so affordable and makes my life easier ! Had to grab a few other staples too and I’m so pleased!! ... Highly recommend Read more
