I have never been disappointed by Shanghai Lily. The bbq pork buns and the soup dumplings are both incredible. I don't believe there is any other place to get soup dumplings in Regina and even if there was it's hard to believe they could be better than these. Shanghai noodles ... and ginger beef are also good but I generally order from the dim sum menu. Everything seems to be cooked to order so sometimes there is a bit of a wait but well worth it. Gross. We're here to visit my sick mom in the hospital and we get this garbage....so sub par. Gross. The breading was raw. Meat was raw.. All the food was slimy . Abandon your preconceived notions about what a proper restaurant should look like. You walk in to what is basically the owner's living room - two tables, couple of recliners and some clutter. If this bothers you, perhaps you should try elsewhere. Stick around and you will be eating some of ... the best Chinese food in Regina. Excellent homemade dim sum with some unique items. The soup dumplings are a rare treat and the pan fried pork dumplings best in Regina. The menu is a little limited however dishes are absolutely first class. The owner is incredibly friendly and an absolute riot. Best dinner and conversation I have had in ages. Read more
