Fresh and Sweet - Regina, Saskatchewan

Hmm ... I hate ripping on locals, but our family's experience here wasn't great. I got what they call "so much food you can skip supper", which was an omelette, pancake, hash browns and toast. The omelette was soulless ... No spices at all, just the ingredients and cheese. I ... added salt, but it was bland and forgettable. Potatoes were ok, the red velvet pancake was dry and tasted like the gluten free stuff. My 3 yr old son got the chocolate chip pancakes, As shown. I love this place! Their red velvet pancakes are the best, and the salmon eggs Benedict are delicious too. It’s a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch. I’ve brought my friends and family here several times, and they’ve all enjoyed it as well! The atmosphere is also fantastic. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful food, wonderful staff! I had the breakfast plus, which is a full savoury breakfast with a side of sweet. In this case it was white chocolate banana bread French toast which was a mouthful to say, but a delight to eat! I enjoyed having brunch there. You choose a menu and then have to stand up and order. It is good because it prevents the anxiety of making your waiter ‘wait’. 😂 The food is really good. Make sure to try a juice!

Brunch Spot Alert! First time I tried Fresh & Sweet was this weekend and it did live to the hype. The staff were kind and courteous and even walked us through the menu when asked. If you want a sweet and fresh meal experience, be sure to check it out.
