Trifon’s Family Restaurant - Regina, Saskatchewan

I popped in for a late lunch and had the best Greek chicken wrap, with side Caesar salad I’ve had in forever. My server I believe was Sam and she was so friendly and good at her job. It was an overall great lunch visit !

I did not expect to see Triffon's Family restaurant treating its customers like this. My 22 year old friend enters the place while he has his ID on his phone. There is a pint of beer and they come at the table and lay hands on the beer and take ... it. You don't have the right to do that maam. If you do not accept the image of the ID and will take the beer from the hand of your customer, you better say that before they take the beer. I am so disappointed and will never come to your restaurant again. There are plenty of places and we can go there instead. You need to work on your crew and their behaviour. You need to have them behave respectfully especially towards those who've visited the place tens of times. Read more

In a stressful period, I went out for pizza and beer with friends. One friend forgot his ID, but despite being an adult, the server refused to serve him. While I was drinking, I offered my drink to my friend for a better mood. The server saw this, rudely took ... my beer, and was very disrespectful. Nearby tables had their beers without ID checks, and they were Canadian. My issue is, my friend is 22 and a regular costumer who knows the staff, yet they were obsessed with his ID. I'm 28 and the beer was mine. If anyone had concerns about the beer, it was my responsibility, and the server knew nothing would happen. Still, she acted like that. Local pub feel, staff are great and make this place a top pick. Their chicken sandwiches and nachos are great. 6 dollar schooners will keep you coming back.

I was very happy with the service, brought my mum here for the first time and she didn’t want anything on her salad we forgot to tell the waiter but when he came back and we requested a new one, no complaints he was so helpful and brought a plain ... one for us!
