McDonald’s - Regina, Saskatchewan

I ordered two iced coffees and a McDouble. While waiting, I watched the person make my coffee. The place was empty, and I was getting bored. One of my iced coffees had way too much syrup—about 1/3rd of the cup was filled with it, making it overly sweet. A DoorDash ... guy came in, and my coffees were just sitting on the other side of the counter and my sandwich was already bagged, but instead of passing them to me, the staff prioritized his large order (two big bags and five drinks). Eventually, someone else handed me my coffees. I asked, "Is this supposed to have this much syrup?" The man replied, "No." When I requested a remake, he sighed and reluctantly agreed. This time, he took the cup out of sight and came back stirring my iced coffee, grinning ear to ear, which was odd since they never stir the coffee, I didn't drink that coffee and I'm not going back. Never ever have I given a fast food place 5 stars but I feel like I have to give this McDonalds 5 stars all around. #1, Never have I been able to walk into a McDonald's dinning room that's open 24 hours a day and been able to order food after ... 12am, this is the first McDonald's I have been to like this and I must give 👍👍 #2 the service was not only very friendly but also fast. Food was cooked fresh and was still hot when we got back to our hotel and ate it. #3, probably the best gravy I have tasted from a fast food place. Most places overload the fries & gravy for poutines with salt. These guys poutines was super super good and tasted almost no salt at all. We really enjoyed not only the fast, friendly service but also really enjoyed the food also. We will definitely be back to this McDonald's and honestly, recommend this McDonald's. Read more

I go here time and time again due to location convenience. I think there is one shift that does pretty decent but the rest if the week is just trash service. Managers hardly know what they're doing when it comes to coordinating a team. I go to Tim Horton's now ... for my larger work orders because it saves me literally 30 minutes in my day not standing around watching everyone either neglect other customers and prioritize drive through over anyone else. They love to hide away from the till and pretend they can't see the customer's. Damn shame. Read more

The food is really quite pathetic. The double burger is about 1/4 inch thick and is lacking in flavor. It was served cold as were the fries. Their hot fries are really good, though. There's hardly a friendly face there. Customer service is 98% for the drive-through. Those who dine ... in are lucky if they receive any intention. They need a mirror or a bell to carch the attention of a drive-through staff member. I go there usually for tea and muffin and because it's convenient. It wouldn't be the food and/or service. This MacDonalds is in a very busy area, always expect it to be busy during work commute and lunch time. For the time the restaurant is not busy the service is very fast, but even during rush hour the service is decent. I would say the drive through service is ... much faster than dining in. Given that this is a fast food restaurant I do not see the need to review the inside dining portion because fast food is a quick drive by activity. As busy as the restaurant is, there are staff members who work very well under pressure but some are just downright rude, given that the interaction with the customer is so fast having attitude towards them.can greatly impact the service provided.
