I am on the road most of the time and eat at Boston pizza a few times a month. Most of them are pretty standard, and some are a bit up or down. This one though was amazing! The service food and drinks are amazing. The staff working in lounge or restaurant are always friendly and best service. The service in the bar area was wonderful. The atmosphere was great and we got to watch the finale of the Brier while eating delicious side salads with bandero bread and a chicken power bowl. It was definitely a lovely place to go.

Last Saturday, we went to Boston Pizza to celebrate my daughter acing her first spelling test with a family dinner, totaling seven of us. We were okay with a 20-minute wait, it was a busy weekend night after all and we hadn’t made a reservation. However, our experience was dampened when ... we overheard a server say to the two hostesses at the front desk, “Go to my table, #22 and then you'll see why everyone hates kids.” This comment, loudly pronounced in a family-friendly restaurant, was inappropriate and startling, to say the least, especially considering several families with children were waiting alongside us. Despite this, we decided to stay as we had already waited and everyone had made the effort to come. The food was standard and what you’d typically expect from Boston Pizza, satisfying but not exceptional. Ironically, the server who made the rude comment ended up being ours and, surprisingly, was very pleasant and nice, particularly to my daughter. While the overall dining experience after being seated was fine, the inappropriate and disrespectful comment made before our meal was what became the highlight of the evening, and that’s unfortunate. I hope the staff at Boston Pizza can be more mindful and and professional. Here’s hoping for a more respectful and welcoming atmosphere for everyone, kids included. Read more

I am not a frequent customer of Boston Pizza, but the few times I have been here, I found that take out has been excellent. The time I have dined in has been the reason for the decreased rating. First of all, I like the options offered by the seating arrangement. ... Customers can choose privacy booths or open tables. The waiters who were working on our table were friendly and professional; however, the others who were not responsible for our table kept ignoring us when we wanted to get their attention. I am not sure if this has to do with waiters managing their own tables or not. Also there is a lot of lax in cleaning up messes, next to the table I was seated the floor was a mess, probably kids had recently been dining there but there was no urgency in cleaning the area. This would most definitely give off a bad impression on customers who are just walking in. On a positive note, compliments to the chef, the food was enjoyable. Read more
