I went today to get hamburger buns. There is new owners & the dough for the buns has changed. Didn’t like them at all…the old recipe was so good. These new ones are dry & zero flavor. 😢.
We ordered a double chocolate fudge cake for my birthday. It was SPECTACULAR!!!!! The icing was superb, soft and tasty. It was layered with a cream type filling which was a cut above what regular bakeries provide. Thank you so much to Tasty Bakery. You are a 10 STAR out ... of 5. We will be back. We love this little bakery and visit whenever we’re in Red Deer. On our last visit, we got this AMAZING fruitcake that was a delight, chock full of fruit and so unbelievably moist. We will make an effort to stop here EVEN MORE around the holidays to get this rich treat!!!
!I forgot to review this place somehow! I was so happy to discover this place, so many delicious things here. Moist mini carrot cakes, cinnamon buns, delicious sandwich bread, and the cakes...!! (I'm not saying my favorite because otherwise I'll never get to have it again, haha.) So happy they extended ... their hours as it was tricky to get here due to work before. Read more
