King Donair & Shawarma‎ - Red Deer, Alberta

Tomato and greens were rotten, hope I will survive today without poisoning. Chicken obviously has few days taste as cardboard. Can’t understand how people scored 5. Because big and cheap???? One of the shawarma net has huge problems in Calgary already.

King Donair has been here forever and the Donairs are huge and delicious. I highly recomend this place, 50st. Downtown Red Deer.

If you’re looking for a great donair Kings is the place. The wife and I have tried others in town, but keep coming back!

Seriously the BEST Donaire that I have EVER HAD!! Fresh ingredients, and guaranteed no pork!!!! The owner is such a courteous gentlemen and was so thoughtful with all of my dietary needs!!! We will be back as often as possible!!!

I can't be mad with the shawarma because it was pretty cheap, But the shawarma was a barely wrapped pita bread and it was definetly heavier on the vegetables than the meat. The Chicken shawarma was also pretty cold and generally did not enjoy nor finish the wrap. The owner ... is a very nice man so I wish him well. Saj bread would add a nice texture to the wrap, would make it easier to wrap tightly and would allow heat to transfer better to the ingredients. Read more
