Heritage Ranch - Red Deer, Alberta

Awesome experience riding in a Horse drawn carriage. About an hour ride. I enjoyed every bit of the serene experience.

We went to the drive in movie. So so much fun! They were a little cheap on the snacks for the amount paid, but it was a beautiful evening, and a nice gentleman who works there brought us a radio to use for sound. Will definitely go again. Such a beautiful walk on the Red Deer River Valley. Of course it is a lot more beautiful when it is summer; but things are coming back to life after winter. Very nice walk. Heritage Ranch is also very nice.

The grandchildren love visiting the horses. We always bring carrots to feed them. The playground is lots of fun as well. We haven't yet tried the pony rides or the trail rides but I'm guessing they are great as well. The horses all seem so friendly!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Hertiage Ranch because it's always a wonderful recreational destination. The walking paths that connect Heritage Ranch to a network of parks in Red Deer include forest and wildlife into an urban center, and this makes Red Deer an amazing place to visit, exercise, and ... enjoy nature.
