Carl’s Jr - Red Deer, Alberta

Carls is easily one of the best burger joints. The portions are massive for the price! I've always had good customer service if anything isn't quite right.

We stopped here on Friday April 12,2024 and bought 3 grilled chicken burgers, all 3 were COMPLETELY undercooked and raw!!! We got it as take out and did not notice the raw burgers for about 20 mins and we had to stop on the side of highway 2 and puke ... it up so we didn't get severe food poisoning for our mountain weekend. It took over a week to get a response from the manager, his name is Asim all he did was apologize and offer us another free chicken burger! First off we don't live in Red Deer so I am not going to drive 90 mins to get a burger and I will NEVER eat a grilled chicken burger from there again! This is VERY dangerous protocols and I know for a fact that all 3 of us would have been VERY sick is we didn't throw up our food on the side of highway 2. STAY FAR AWAY from this place. He wouldn't even refund our money!!! What a joke. VERY BAD service from the manager and he won't return any of my emails after I refused the 'free' chicken burger. We just want our money back. I love Carl’s Jr. In my estimation it is still the top fast food burger chain out there. It destroys all of Canada’s offerings and is top 3 of America’s fast food burger places too. The beef is top notch, the menu is versatile and the flavours are immense. Carl’s ... succeeds at the flame grilled taste that BK attempts to promote as its whole identity, and does it at such a higher degree it is laughable. This particular location was new and clean too. I recently had an extremely unpleasant encounter at Carl's Jr., where the service left much to be desired. The woman working the till not only rang up the wrong order but also proceeded to argue with me about it, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite my efforts to explain the mistake, the ... staff member seemed unwilling to acknowledge the error, making the situation even more frustrating. Regrettably, the issue was not resolved, and I left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied with both the service and the overall experience. This unfortunate incident has left a lasting negative impression, and I hope that Carl's Jr. takes steps to improve customer service and prevent such uncomfortable situations in the future. Read more
