It’s a chain. Atmosphere is nicer than Tim hortons. The service I had there was nicer than Starbucks. But the food and coffee is on par or worse than Tim hortons so I won’t be going back. My coffee tasted like water. And of course the food was prepackaged so ... it’s not great. If I had to wait nearby I think I would go here with a book, talk to the nice servers, and just order an espresso. Read more

Very good Second Cup. Nice coffee and pastries. Friendly staff. Lots of seating and a nice atmosphere.

This cafe is my happy place! Their vanilla bean latte is a dream, and the staff always greet you with a smile, making every visit feel like catching up with a friend.

This is the other PG café I have patronized when in town over the past 20 years as it is consistantly that good. Great location, friendly staff and the most conspicuous cafe community in town. A quality Canadian franchise.

Went to second cup as it was the only coffee shop with sandwiches that I could find on a Sunday. I got a “grilled chicken” on ciabatta, a turkey bacon club, a water, and a Gatorade for $30. The sandwiches were terrible. The meat was just processed deli meat and there ... was no lettuce or tomato on the club sandwich. The “grilled chicken” sandwich had one and a half slices of processed deli chicken. I expected higher quality for that price point and would not recommend their food. Read more
