Wasn't overly impressed to be honest. The fries were thinly cut, somewhat soggy/greasy and brown. The fish itself was good, MINUS the batter, it was crunchy like a hard shell and too greasy. We paid close to $30 for a 2 piece with gravy and 2 drinks. I don't think ... I'd go back. Read more
It is an amazing place to try fish and chips. Their food is lovely. The amount of the food is really good. And you can enjoy the beach view right in front of the restaurant. Their customer service is so good.
Is this the best fish & chips in Newfoundland? I don’t know but can’t find anything bad to say about it. Delicious!!! I had fish with fries with dressing & gravy !!
Came by on a recommendation from a local friend and was not disappointed! Fish was fantastic and not greasy, batter light and crispy... Portion are great size and very reasonable price. Fries were great, wished for more British style, but still satisfying! View is spectacular, especially around sunset, and service was so ... very friendly. Only small nag is packaged tartar.. would like a homemade sauce option. Read more
Always large portions of cod. Batter not my favorite but that's a personal taste thing, still good. Great service. Good view. One of my favorite f&c near St. John's.
