Amazing little hidden gem !! All homemade including all soups and just everything baked goods frozen meals macaroni is to die for. Lazausna I'f thsts spelled right lol and owners arleigh and Linda are nicest people ever !! My daughter won a lunch for 2 contest from Basil's. She treated me for my birthday. Basil's also treated us with the most delicious Carrot Cake. Lunch was very good as usual. Great place to eat & service is friendly & quick. Thanks again Basil's.

Great sandwiches and soup! I've had lunch here twice now, once dining in and another picking up for take-out and both times food was excellent. Friendly staff and great service.

Our favourite breakfast spot. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is quieter and seating is comfortable. Could definitely use a baby change table somewhere though.

Stopped here for a rest stop before heading back home. The staff was very pleasant, and the restaurant had a kind atmosphere. The food was delicious. My friend ordered a huge slice of carrot cake, which was graciously delivered to him on the patio. Talking to the staff, they mentioned people ... would stop, and head into Port Hope and dine at Basil's. Would highly recommend this little shop on the corner. Don't miss it! Read more
