Beamish House - Port Hope, Ontario

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Fish wasn't very good. And we were brought our meals maybe 5 minutes after getting our appetizer because, "we don't leave food sitting in the kitchen when it's ready.". Felt rushed and a little odd.

We had a wonderful time at Beamish House on Sunday. They have a huge patio and umbrellas at all of the tables, not to mention beautiful dining area inside. We stayed around after eating to socialize and listen to the live music. Overall it was a splendid visit, with a walk around afterwards to take in some of the sites. We ate on the nice outdoor patio at the Beamish House at a recent sister getaway in Port Hope. Great food. Generous servings. Would definitely recommend you check it out. The interior looks great and would like to check it out some night.
