Another hidden gem that I found recently. Food are very homey and delicious. (Forgot to take pics of food lol obviously I was hungry). The owner is very friendly and happy to explain and share if there is anything you would like to know about their dishes. He even taught ... me how to make Turkish coffee. After talking with the owner, I believe the way he cooks and ingredients he used are high quality and healthy. By the way, if you like tea, Saffron tea is a must try. Highly recommended. Wow! The food was amazing! The eggplant was a huge surprise with complex flavours that made for a great starter. But the kebabs...wow just wow. The were simply amazing. I honestly don't know anything about authentic Turkish/Persian cuisine, but the food seemed very authentic and rustic. The cuisine in general is not my personal cup of tea because I'm not a lamb lover (most of the entrees are lamb dishes), but it's a unique experience and I've returned more ... than once. Yes, there are non-lamb dishes, appetizers, and breakfasts. The owner is very kind and attentive, the decor sets a pleasant tone, and the live acoustic pianist just soothes my cares away. Tried Persian food in multiple restaurants in lower mainland, but this place felt more authentic to me in terms of ambiance and taste. The Kale Pache ...
