Massey’s Restaurant - Pickering, Ontario

My family has been eating at Massey's over 30-years and it is by far the best food in Durham Region. Their food is always fresh and delicious, large portions and excellent service. We love this place!

Have been going to Massey's for years. Today was not a good day. Ordered lunch for take out and the clerk was exceptionally rude. Went to get my food and the atmosphere in the kitchen could be explained as hateful. Not one person smiling and they ... seemed put out that I was there. My salad had fruit flies in it and I didn't get a receipt for my order, after asking. It seems that Massey's has gone downhill. I won't be going back after my experience today. Read more

Caesar salad is my absolute favorite here and I can never turn down a slice of their chocolate cake. It's definitely the best chocolate cake I have ever had, likely cause it's homemade and not fake and processed like what other restaurants serve.

Good food, but if you're looking for good customer service go elsewhere. They do not do substitutions even with a dietary issue and do not show their customers respect or sympathy in the matter. I left feeling still hungry since I was unable to eat the side that was manditory ... with the meal I had chosen and they refused to put hot sauce on my boyfriend's wrap. Massey's is a fantastic restaurant. I have never had bad service when I went there. The food is well prepared and priced accordingly. The staff is so kind and knowledgeable when they come to take my order. I always leave happy as can be. During the summer months their patio is ... an excellent place to eat, drink and socialize.
