Boston Pizza - Pickering, Ontario

Nice local pizza and burgers restaurant with a sports bar and good menu. Pretty easy to find something you’d like and it’ll be good. I was in the mood for a burger so tried their Boston sized Burger and enjoyed every bite. It’s one of those double stacked burgers so ... can be difficult to actually get in your mouth to eat. One of these days maybe they’ll figure out a way to make a gourmet burger that isn’t 8” tall when assembled. Here’s hoping. I got the Parmesan garlic fries but while they were good I don’t think they’re worth the substantial additional cost. They had a Jays spring training baseball game on the big screen so that was fun to watch while we ate. Certainly recommend. Read more

Rutvik was our server at Boston Pizza in Pickering and treated us to a very enjoyable early birthday celebration, a wonderful outgoing, positive personality that did not think twice about anything that we requested of him or the restaurant for our meal. have always had bad experiences here with service and food. went last night for my birthday since we had a giftcard and had such an amazing time! our server shauna provided amazing service and really made it special for us. the food was better than we’ve ever had here! will ... definitely be back more often! Amazing late night service by all staff! Shout out to kitchen staff coming out to host for seating our party of six after a Queen tribute concert at the local casino. Keep it up, Shawna our waitress for bringing it together in our incredible night out with a home-warming meal.

Great tasting food and nice decor and environment, but service could've been better. Instead of being served we had to subtlety remind the waiter for things, like cutlery for example (he served us all of our food without any forks, knives or spoons). The preparation times is a bit of a ... wait, but for great tasting food and decent prices, it's worth it. Edit: Coming back here again, our waiter was much better except the service times were really long and quite slow (despite it being not busy). That being said, they were very friendly and offered us Mother’s Day gifts, which was sweet of them. Edit 2: Came back here again, the Halal options is an excellent bonus, and while wait times still are a bit of a drag here, the prices and friendly service have turned this into a family favourite!
