I’ve been visiting this Jack Astors since they opened up and can honestly say the food quality isn’t what it used to be and the prices have gone up quite a lot. Jack Astors is an old favourite, I’ve been been dining here for over a decade and while the menus has undergone various changes they always come back with a punch. Chris our waiter was upbeat, and did a great job at multi tasking and added positively to our dining experience. We shared ... the fish tacos which were simple but Sometimes that all you need when the ingredients are fresh and tasty, fresh pico and cilantro and a squeeze of lime hit the spot. We also had to upgrade to their sweet potato fries because they are crispy and a welcome change to russet potatoes. We honestly came for the apples and caramel on the kids menu. Great service and environment! We were well taken care of by our servers and the food was delivered in a timely manner. I’ve always loved the food at Jack Astors and today was great, as usual.

Atmosphere nice but food was not good at all! Poutine cheese was really nice 👍 taco also taste good 🌮 Ordered chicken wings and nachos were so bad. 😔 Definitely not coming back even if the ambiance of the place was nice.

Same great tasting food from the jack astors we always knew Jacks always comes in clutch with good food at decent prices considering all the inflation with other restos too Haven’t been to jacks in a long time and was in the area of Pickering so decided to try out this location ... at Pickering town centre Food was solid and came out pretty quick considering it being a stat holiday when we went. The one in Whitby was packed and couldn’t get a table for at least over an hour, so nice that we got to be seated immediately here Burger was tasty. Nice and juicy, and only think that a little bit more flavour is needed for that umami kick. The pitcher of Stella we ordered definitely helped out with mood though lol Didn’t get it this time, but would always recommend getting their nachos! Love jacks nachos! Service was great.
