Papa’s Pizzaland - Peterborough, Ontario

After waiting 1 1/2 hours for our pizza, my gluten free pizza was so over cooked the outer part was hard enough to break my teeth and the inner part was tough like leather. I called and they said they would try to send something out but they were ... busy, then twenty five minutes later I get a new pizza that isn’t cooked, the dough isn’t cooked, it’s powdery and the green peppers are crunchy. I’ve ordered from here so much and this is beyond disappointing. I get mistakes happen but after getting an uncooked pizza after an overcooked, paper thin pizza and waiting 2 hours when I was already sick and exhausted to begin with is pretty upsetting. Read more

I have order from here in the past and the food was always good but after this experience I will never order from here again. My pizza was so thin that there was almost no crust and had so much sauce on it my fingers went through when I tried ... to pick a piece up. The mushrooms I ordered weren't on it but the bacon crumble I didn't ask for was. You could taste anything but pizza sauce. The pizza was unevenly cut so the piece were all different sizes. My husband and 4 year old had pepperoni and cheese that tasted awful. It took an hour and 20 mins for it to be delivered and when we got it the pizzas they were barely warm. I couldn't eat it because it was so bad. I tried to call the store to speak with a manager -over 30 times -and couldn't get ahold of anyone despite it being within business hours. The staff are friendly and service is great. Pizza is ready for pick up when they say it will be. Several combos to choose from. When you order ‘extra’ cheese or ‘extra’ anything you actually get it.

I'm leaving a review of 2. We try places 3 times before we leave reviews. Tonight was the 3rd. We had two okay experiences previously, tonight however the food was cold, you should never need to microwave your delivery order before you eat it. The coolest pizza restaurant I've ever been in my life. The Thai flatbread wasn't the best thing I ate though. I think if I ordered a different flavour, I'd like it more. Staff ate great though & restaurant theme is so cool.
