Aji Sai offers excellent service with attentive and friendly staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, the food quality is subpar. While the dining experience is pleasant thanks to the staff, the culinary aspects need improvement.
An average 'all you can eat' Sushi place. But it's worth the price with today's overly expensive groceries (especially sea food). They have an assorted selection of sushis, but since the servings are either 6 or 8 pieces, I'd suggest reading the description carefully, so that you don't end up ... getting something you may not like. There's a fine/penalty for wasting unreasonable amounts of food. They have semi-decent quality sashimis, but the pieces are small, so it is best to order small portions, a few times. Not a vegetarian/vegan paradise. Since English is the second language, and due to the early stages of integration of most of the servers, the service will seem a little out of place. The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5, is I've been there twice recently, and both times they played only Taylor swift the entire time. Arrived at 7:00 as they close at 8:30. The place was full but the 3 of us were quickly seated. Found a new table as a vent shooting cold air was straight over our heads. The menu is nice with some items like bacon wrapped asparagus on skewers that I haven't ... seen elsewhere in town. I wish there were more spicy options for the noodles and Udon, the noodles I did order seemed bland. The fried calamari and tempura squid were enormous and quite good. No on-menu (iPad) option for gluten free food although it does ask you to share allergies/intolerances with the waiter. The waiter did bring us gluten-free soya sauce for my daughter which was nice. Best sushi around. There's no replacement within 3 hours. The all you can eat is fantastic, we also get a lot of takeout. The staff have been there for years now and are great to deal with.
