This place was awesome. The food was spectacular and was good in every way. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was flavourful and was brought in a generous portion. The spanakopita was really great and fresh. Great date spot! The staff was really amazing too. Will definitely be going back :)
Ordered a Caesar salad for pick up, but showed up an hour or so late to get it. A woman comes from the kitchen and tells me the salad has been sitting for a long time and offers to make me a fresh one, I told her it was my ... fault and not to worry. She insisted that she would not want me going home and eating a salad like that from her restaurant. As much as I insisted it was my fault and not worry, she went to the kitchen and came back with a fresh salad for me. To say the least, it's the best Caesar Salad in Peterborough. Service and customer care like that is hard to find. I highly recommend!!!! Read more
Americanized Italien Pizza place. The pizzas are good but definitely not like in Italy (thick crust, too much cheese). I ordered fettuccine Alfredo pasta, which came cold and the pasta and sauce didn't taste like anything. We sent it back and they took it off the bill. We ordered "Kids mini ... Pizzas" for $10.95 That Kid Pizza was smaller than a regular pizza slice! It was only ONE pizza tiny pizza, although the menu says "pizzas", aka more than one. For just $2 more we got a small 10" pizza that was triple the size! Is that how you treat families?! Read more
I'd walked by this restaurant for the last 3 years without having been in. When I did go in for the first time, I was pleased to see the welcoming decor and the warm people. The food was fantastic and they try to accomodate your needs very well. The garlic bread ... was tender and soft with just the right amount of cheese and seasoning. The lasagne and Ravioli where also absolutely worth every penny. All flavours perfectly balanced. Definitely go on your payday. Highly recommended. Read more

What the heck happened to Jim's ??? I suspect there are new owners. Whoever is doing the cooking definitely does not have a clue and the quality and unique flavour is gone !!! We used to dine in at Jim's frequently a few years back, but since ... Covid we haven't visited. We ordered take out tonight and ended up shocked with the bland food and "cut corners" that we'd never experienced before. We won't be back and we'll order elsewhere in future. Shame. Yet another formerly great Peterborough restaurant bites the dust. Read more
