Portions and price are great. Rice is always fresh and light. Never overcooked. A mom and pop operation . can be a little slower during a rush just due to having the one chef. Pretty good sushi just across from the cinema. Great for a bite before a movie! Nothing super special about the food but the staff was very friendly.

I've always had great experiences at this place. I love the food, the rolls are super fresh and delicious, and the people working there are kind and sweet. I'd definitely recommend!

Great food (what we received), terrible experience. We placed an order for 2 servings of gyoza for the table and 5 types of sushi, plus a teriyaki bowl for a non-sushi lover. The gyoza came with no plates to eat from; none were brought to the table ... after requesting them. Three of the sushi dishes came to the table on separate plates, still no individual plates for eating. When the teriyaki finally arrived we asked about the missing sushi dishes and we were told they were still to come. By the time one of those dishes came to the table we had finished the first three dishes. Never did get the last dish we had ordered. We were not alone in missing parts of our order, I heard another customer complaining about the same thing as he settled his bill. All staff seemed more concerned about filling party trays for take-away than preparing food for customers sitting in the restaurant. First time I have paid +$50.00 for sushi and not received it laid out on one tray to enjoy it all at once. Evergreen was my daughter's "go-to" place for sushi, now we'll never go back! Read more
