Spent the weekend there at the hotel and really tried to give this place a chance but our server was unbelievably rude. We made small talk as a group, tried to be friendly, joke around, and just ended up getting spoken to like she didn’t even want to be there. ... We had a huge group in for the weekend and spent thousands at this hotel and this restaurant. Customers shouldn’t have to put up with rude attitudes, and then be expected to tip you 20+ percent. lol are you kidding me… do better lady, you’re miserable and it’s not our fault you hate working there. Love the place. Best Swiss Burger I've ever had in my LIFE. I'm not joking! I was so over the moon about it I was trying to talk the waitress into my meeting that cook. Drink pricing was like everywhere else today. . . . they could do ... better. My wife Franki and I are going back. People watching out on the outside deck is fun. It's on the beach. Came in today around 5pm with my husband and sat on the patio. The place was relatively quiet. We sit in the middle of the patio at a two seat table and 16 minutes go by with not one “hello”, “what you want” “got any menus?”, nothing. All we got was ... eye contact from 3 different servers then ignored. My husband politely asked a blonde waitress, “excuse me, can we order a few things?” she responded with a bothered tone “um I can grab you a server” while walking away. My friend and I were there at a very busy time, Canada Day. We got plenty of food for a great price. Very friendly service. Onion rings were okay, but no flavour. A bit disappointed with that.

This place is iconic. I love their menu. I love the prices. Don’t ever change. Canada Day 2024 - the dj is playing the best 80s/90s music. I love it.
