Me & my family took a trip to Penticton for the weekend this past weekend. We googled where to eat & came across the Barley Mill Pub. We got there & they were super busy as it was father's day. We did not know we needed reservations but they found ... room for us anyway which was great. The service could've been a little better as they seemed more concerned with the drinkers than the people there just to eat. We seen our waitress twice. Once when ordering & once when we were done & ready to pay. The staff were super friendly tho. But the food...INCREDIBLE. I honestly can't think of the last time I've had a meal that good at a restaurant. We were all extremely impressed with the food. I would highly recommend this place if you're ever in Penticton & we will happily eat here again next time we're in town. Read more
This Pub is definitely worth checking out! Nicole was very kind and accommodating to our large party reservation. The decor of pub was unique and well done! All food and drinks tasted amazing, we will for sure be coming back next time we are in Penticton!
Really great food! I had the fish sandwich. Nice chunk of halibut. Fried but not greasy. Great slaw. Nice bun. The Caesar salad side was nice! I had an elderflower rose gin drink that was nice!
Went with the family not knowing what to expect. We were amazed at how delicious all the food was. French dip came with onion ring garnish which were well seasoned and perfectly crunchy. Beef on the bun was stacked high and high quality. Finished off with a red pepper sauce which ... added a little kick. Wife had the fish and chips said it was one of the best shes ever had. Better than fish at white rock beach for sure. Batter was thin but crunchy not a bite was missing cod. Father in law had the Reuban not a big eater anymore, but every bite was stuffed in without a peep. Read more
I’ll start off by saying that I was a bit disappointed that on a midsummer Friday evening around 9pm, I was repeatedly told by other venues that their kitchen was either closed, or the menu was limited to a handful of options, none-of-which I felt like after a long day ... in the Okanagan sun. Fast forward to the Barley Mill Brew Pub. Not only was their kitchen open, but the food was bangin, B! Had the halibut burger with salad and buffalo chicken wings with blue cheese dip. The kitchen nailed it! Karaoke was in full swing, the Guinness pints were flowing and the service from the bartender was outstanding. This place is a vibe on a Friday night. Check them out. Unfortunately, this is the only photo I managed to take. Read more
