Pho Com Vietnam - Ottawa, Ontario

First of all, the food was absolutely fantastic. I had a Pho tai and 2 plates of spring rolls. My brother got the 3 color rice. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The place had an incredibly modern feel to it. Not like most places in china town. I'll be incredibly ... blunt but most of the bad reviews looks like they are from groupon customers. I looked on their website and they've established that the menu is straight up a dollar more expensive than paying regularly so I have no idea why there are complaints about it. On the weekends I've ate here with my family and the place was incredibly packed with groupon customers. Since they are relatively new, it's a no brainer that it'll be a little slow when it gets packed. I think I may have found a new place to eat whenever I pass by china town. Read more

Place is pretty clean, but some of the plates were chipped. Food was ok. Was charged more than the menu (extra dollar for each dish; not a big deal, but somewhat unpleasant). Some dish descriptions are inaccurate. Pho with quail eggs came without these. An appetizer described as 8 deep ... fried meat balls was actually 6 meat ball quarters (one and a half of a small meatball in total) and was charged 6$ for it too. Decor looked great. However it took over 30 minutes before I got my food. Surprisingly my dessert came before my main. Staff seem a bit disoriented since they kept asking if people had ordered their meal. Atmosphere was quite dead, across from me a customer was sleeping. Just went to this place a few hours ago. We went there quite unexpectedly while we were walking by. It had a really welcoming feel and the decor was very nice. We were there with our 6 month old and the staff was very accommodating to us, friendly and made us ... feel welcome. On to the food - Great portions, and was very tasty. We all order a variety of the 'Bun, and it was excellent! We'll definitely be coming back and recommend this place to anyone else! Read more

Amazing! Clean, lovely aesthetic. Very good food with good pricing! For 2 of us getting appetizers and a meal and just having the tea they have us, even with tip less then 40$. Staff was friendly and helpful and made sure we were happy. And the place is super handicap/accessibility ... friendly! Read more
