This is the best Thai restaurant in Ottawa. I have been going here for lunch since 2013 (they were at different location at that time). Even after their move, we continue to support this restaurant. The owner is the best chef. She makes super awesome Green Curry and love ... the sticky rice with mango desert. My family and colleagues love it at Singha Thai. Read more

Love the foods! If not good, I won't say because I am Thai people who love Thai foods😁

The food was quite delicious and authentic to Thai cuisine. Shortly after our arrival, a couple arrived and the female, perhaps, had substantial mental issues. She approached us and repeatedly informed us that we were sitting at her table. (The restaurant has approximately ten tables, no reservations and we ... were the only diners in the place.) Then, the lady spent the ENTIRE time VERY LOUDLY complaining and constantly getting the lone server's attention. While the server (whose father was the chef and owner) apologized to us a few times for the lady's boorish and loud behaviour, it definitely marred our time there to the point that a return visit would not be palatable. Beyond that, although the restaurant is very small, there is no on-site parking and we had to leave the car on the side street. Further, the front window had distracting strobe lights and was a visual nuisance from where we were sitting. Overall, the experience was a pity - - the food was excellent but the noted atmosphere grossly distracted to the environment of the event. Read more

Food was decent, portions were very small. For 200ml soup it was $4.95. For two salad shrimp spring rolls cut in half it was 7.95 with one measly little shrimp in each roll! Fried spring rolls were also 7.95. Cost two people $30 for lunch ... without drinks or an entree. Soup labeled as spicy was not anything like spicy (tom kha). Decent tasting food, but not for the prices. Staff friendly but will never eat here again; portions are just way too small. Read more
