We tried this restaurant for the first time on June 30 2024. It was a Food Network special that highlighted this restaurant and their whole lobster poutine! We also tried their calamari and their Korean Shrimp. All of the food was really good and generously portioned. We highly ... recommend a reservation and call ahead about pricing because the cost if base on the market at the time. The best seafood place I've ever been. The oysters and tuna tar tar were very fresh and tasty! We ordered lobster and seafood pasta for the main course it was very delicious. The desserts was awesome. Service was very good too! Absolutely recommended

Found this place on Tiktok last year. Was in Ottawa today so I stopped to try this place FINALLY!! (Originally from Toronto) . Service was Top notch thanks to Adriana. Restaurant was clean and we were comfortable even eating in the bar area since the place was packed. (Make sure you reserve ... before you go!!) . We ordered a mix of everything from the hot table menu. Food was so tasty that made us stop talking, good portions for the price, super super fresh, and very well cleaned oysters. . Ever since our trips to Isle D'orleans and through PEI and New Brunswick, we have been looking for a local place with good lobster rolls. We found a close runner up here, and there's no shame in that. Going to the Pelican Seafood Grill was really going back to an old ... almost forgotten friend. Dayna, our server, was very nice and helped us navigate food sensitivies with their menu items. Their calamari is fantastic. The lobster on the rolls was a decent volume, and served cold. I was pleasantly surprised by their fresh cut fries. My only criticism would be the buns used were flat. Great atmosphere. Reservations recommended. It may be a little lively for some, but happy people are a testament to good food. Highly recommend a visit, if you're in the mood for good seafood! Read more

wow. This was our first time coming here & it was absolutely worth every penny !!!! the only thing i found odd is upon walking in, for a good 5-7 mins nobody looked our way or even asked us if we had a reservation.. my husband had to go up to ... the bar and then we were asked finally to be seated. We ordered the following: Caesar Salad (No bacon) Oysters Mussles kids tomato spaghetti King Crab Pasta Lobster poutine in the larger sized lobster everything was insanely delicious. PORTION SIZING is especially what we appreciated here. most “fancy” restaurants you leave still feeling hungry.. NOT here !! my husbands pasta was a gigantic bowl and looked even bigger in person than it does in the pic i took! my poutine was enough to feed 2-3 (but i gladly devoured 80% of it alone😂) I did find the fries in the lobster poutine slightly burnt- some of them had a burnt oil taste:( but not the entire plate. I wish the kids meal came with a side ! My son loves caesar salad & he devoured the entire thing so quickly 😂, that also came in a giant bowl!!! we love huge portions at restaurants and this is a big reason we will be returning!
