The fish was nice and the service was also top notch. The portions were sufficient. All the dishes were nicely decorated. The restaurant wasn't too busy and the food came out relatively quickly. It's my first time at the Fish Market, but definitely of more to come. Beautiful and comfortable, lovely theme, clean, fast and excellent service always checking on tables. Food: wonderful menu, a lot of unique options, a wide variety of fish, salads, sides, platters... The restaurant was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely with a nautical feel that doesn't beet you over the head, it was quite and the service was friendly and personable. The food was a tad expensive for the quantity but definitely made up for it in the ... quality. The sauces were fantastic on the pastas shrimp and muscles, and the catfish was great. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a quite seafood dinner or lunch in downtown Ottowa, as long as you willing to pay a fair bit. Being in the heart of the Byward Market means that before or after your meal you can stop by the stands for home made clothing and jewelry, and fresh produce and snacks. Read more

Amazing food. The seafood citrus salad is my favorite. The service is great. Food portions are generous and the taste is delicious. We had a teenager who's a picky eater, yet he loved the food. A bit pricey but Highly recommended.

If you're in the mood for seafood you have to come here. Service is super friendly, and the prices are affordable. They bring you fresh bread with fennel oil dip with your drinks and the food came out pretty quickly considering it was busy that day. The salmon is especially ... good. Cocktails are great, but the moscow had powdered lime flavour instead of actual lime. Calamari rings could be fresher too. Other that, definitely a good spot. Read more
