I used to love this place but they changed the way the make the sandwiches for the worst. The bread is no longer as crispy as it used to be. They don't even slice the cucumber thinly; it's now a wedge. The ingredients are so unevenly distributed in the sandwich ... that often rating only one ingredient. Really delicious banh mi! This is the only place I go for banh mi now, and the price is great. The lady who runs it is very sweet and lovely to talk to. It really feels authentic and she makes every sandwich as if she were making it for one ... of her own grandchildren. I would recommend to anyone, and I will continue to visit often! Read more

Lovely spot. It's right in the Ottawa Chiba Town. It's easy to miss but don't. Seating and space are limited. The sandwich is spot on. Great ratio of filling to bread. A lot of mayo and justly and awesome bread. Crunchy out side and soft inside. The grilled pork was flavorful ... and it was soft and tore easily with each bite. The sandwich was 0acked up nicely and held up really well while I was walking back to my hotel. (I couldn't wait to eat it). Service was lovely. Price was a bit high for what I'm use to in Toronto. But it's not Toronto. And frankly it's worth it. Read more

Delightful little sandwich shop owned and operated by a Vietnamese Grandmother, great sandwiches at good prices. She's got a great sense of humor. Hours can be a bit variable but I guess that's what happens when the owner is in her 80's!

I love the grandma. I love the food. I love Que Huong. On a serious note, I've tried hundreds of Vietnamese subs in my childhood. From neighbors, to mass producing Vietnamese subs in Toronto Chinatown and many more. These may be a tad more expensive, but the grilled pork Vietnamese ... sub is definitely the best Vietnamese sub I have ever had over the past twenty years. Read more
