We recently visited Dunn's Famous Deli in Ottawa. The staff was friendly and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. Unfortunately, one of our sandwiches wasn't prepared gluten-free as requested, which was a major inconvenience for someone with a dietary restriction. The regular smoked meat sandwiches were average. Ordered the classic smoked meat sandwich with fries. I'm a fan of Dunn's in general and their smoked meat in Montreal is fantastic. This is...not that. The meat is not very tender, with the fries tasting stale. Cooked but stale. Hard to describe but overall not very enjoyable. Went here with the family for an easy dinner. They had a pretty great deal for a family sized dinner with smoked meat on a plate and rye bread which was pretty decent for the price. We also ordered poutine and it was massive. Good value.

My go-to spot for breakfast in the market. Great prices and good portions. Service is always friendly. I recommend the Eggs Benny Sausage
