Milestones - Ottawa, Ontario

A couple of friends and myself really enjoyed our experience tonight. Our server, Nigel, was great! 5* for Nigel and bar service. I had the Spiced Shoyu ramen bowl... delicious.. but also made me cry twice, I mean had to wipe my mascara cry. It's very hot, that's not your normal ... chili pepper. Went here to attend a birthday dinner on the weekend. The service was good and the food was excellent, I will say I enjoyed what I ordered. However what I didn’t enjoy was hearing we all had to leave by a certain time . They needed the ... table we were at. Meanwhile there were lots of empty tables inside the restaurant. I was actually a little afraid to order dessert…. Given the prices they charge and the amount of money we spent having dinner there. By giving us a time limit , I found that was rather tacky to say the least. So I most likely wouldn’t return here , not would I use the place for a Birthday dinner . Read more

She seemed disinterested and inattentive, ... lacking the warmth and professionalism one hopes for in a dining establishment. On the bright side, the food itself was delicious, with each dish showcasing flavorful ingredients and skillful preparation. However, the chaotic atmosphere detracted from the overall dining experience, making it difficult to fully enjoy the culinary offerings. Excellent and quick service, tasty and fresh food and delightful beverages in a prime location. The menu offers variety in terms of cuisine, although not many dishes—decent, though! We visited for lunch and ordered Miami Iced Tea, Wham Bam Shrimp, Mediterranean Chicken with an addition of rice and Dulce de ... Leche cheesecake. The beverage, starter and the dessert were excellent, while the main course was decent. The service was probably the best part of the restaurant. Upon learning that we were visiting during our anniversary week, they made the dessert complimentary/on the house. A pricey place, though, suited for special occasions. Read more
