I am extremely disappointed and concerned about a recent experience at Pizza Pizza (1191 St Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, ON). On May 20, 2024, I purchased two slices of pizza: one BBQ chicken and one cheese. While eating the BBQ chicken slice, I bit into a hard object that caused severe ... tooth pain. To my shock, I discovered it was a stone baked into the pizza. I returned to the store immediately to report the incident. The employee confirmed it was an unsafe object but showed no sympathy or accountability. I only received an apology after explicitly requesting one, following a dismissive attitude. This incident occurred on Victoria Day, so I had to wait until the next day to seek dental care. My dentist approved an emergency visit, requiring me to take time off work. Thankfully, no immediate damage was found, but the stress and inconvenience were significant. As a loyal customer, I expect better quality and service from Pizza Pizza. I seek a formal apology, compensation for the distress caused, and assurances that such incidents will be prevented in the future. If not resolved satisfactorily, I will consider legal action and sharing my experience on social media. I hope this matter is taken seriously and resolved promptly. Read more

Lovely place one of the greatest pizza pizza stores , great service

The hygiene at this Pizza Pizza branch was awful. The staff, including a lady and a young man, didn't wear hairnets. Moreover, the lady handling the cash engaged in preparing pizzas between customers without washing her hands, then resumed handling the cash.

Worst service one could get. Very rude. I was asking about the combo and that if can get specialty pizza in that offer he simply skipped my question and kept asking me what do you want. He left in the middle while I was ordering. The old man was ... arrogant. I was so upset that I wanted to leave we had not choice but but the pizzas. I hope the management look into it and at least ask the person to be nice with the customers and if they don’t like to work night shifts then quit. Unprofessional behaviour. Absolute disappointment. Grumpy old man that would choose your order and assume you're payment methods then accuse you of misinformation. Threw equipment around, seemed super grumpy about being there. Maybe just having a bad day or something. Or management needs a look over. Food is standard between pizza pizza so this review ... focuses more on customer service. Read more
