Pizza Pizza - Ottawa, Ontario

I’ve been coming to this pizza store for 5-6 months now, i really loved my experience! The staff are incredibly nice, and the restaurant is always clean. Whether dining in or taking out, the quality is excellent. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ANY AND I MEAN ANY COMPANY IVE EVER HAD. this has been my favourite pizza place since ive been a kid. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BE ORDERING FROM HERE. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. ive been waiting for OVER 2 HOURS. NOT EXAGGERATING. I. WANT. MY MONEY ... BACK. TERRIBLE. they took the money and did not deliver. website says its delivered to MY ADDRESS. not here. called, was put in hold for 20 minutes just to he told to RE ORDER AFTER I PAYED FOR THIS ORDER. absolutely ABSOLUTE ABSURD. ive dealt with a lot of stupidity in fast food orders during my life but NEVER HAVE I EVER EXPERIENCED THIS. this urked my soul. i want my STOLEN money back. RIDICULOUS. RIDICULOUSSSS. and im not one to get mad. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. we literally had to go out and get nasty FROZEN PIZZA. ive never been so mad. picture is of the frozen pizza (i will not be eating, thanks for ruining my dinner) BECAUSE THERES NO PIZZA HERE AFTER OVER 2 HOURS. Always top notch pizza. I know everyone seems to hate on Pizza Pizza these days, but I seriously love it. I live down the road from this location so it is my go to place. I order from there at least once a week and I am always very happy ... with my pizza. They make it the way I want it every time, I can't think of a time my order was ever wrong and I've ordered from there for years. It's always hot, fresh and extremely delicious. It's easily my favourite place to get takeout from. I like a thin crust pizza and they do it just right. I find other pizza places in Ottawa make pizza that's way too doughy and heavy. I've never understood the appeal, I find it's like eating a loaf of bread with some cheese and sauce. Pizza Pizza has the perfect ratio of toppings, sauce and dough/crust for me. Pair that with their creamy garlic dipping sauce and you have a perfect meal. On top of that, their prices and specials are unbeatable. $20 easily feeds my wife and me with leftovers to spare. I had the most horrible experience today. I ordered a pizza for my kids (which I often order), and this time they added some seasoning to it. When I asked them to remove the seasoning because my kids won't eat it, they refused. They said this is the way we ... make the pizza (although this was not the case in the many times I ordered it before). I asked to speak to the owner, and he made things much worse. He called me a "liar" during our conversation, and he simply said "we will do nothing to you, I am the owner of this place". I have never been treated like this. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. I even tried to reason with them, saying "are you willing to lose a customer just for 19$, or just to remake the pizza?!!", no answer. It's not shrinkflation, its CHEAP-flation! Their regular pizza is thinner than an average thin crust pizza. Its like they use dough for a medium sized pizza and stretched it out to XL. You can't even hold up the pizza without it falling apart. There's barely any sauce or cheese and ... the toppings are NEVER fully cooked. What is going on here? Seems like ALL pizza pizza locations in Ottawa have gone downhill. Will spend my money elsewhere smh.. Read more
