Used to go here 12+ years ago when the food was great and staff were friendly. Just had it recently and the food was mediocre. Not enough sauce or chicken whatsoever. Carling location WAS the best in the city…my second time to give it a fair shake when not satisfied with food but sadly it has changed. Today i got a chicken sandwich that was 95% dark meat which changed the flavour entirely and not in a positive direction…there were ... no pickles either. Overall the price is up, the quality down and I will never go back to pay premium prices for less than their previous excellent food. Great place for an awesome food experience! One chicken, beef or mixed plate can comfortably feed 2 people, unless you have 2 stomachs! I'm yet to taste a better garlic sauce in Ottawa. Beef might be a liiiiittle too seasoned for some, but it's right up my alley! I ... prefer the chicken plate though, and the potatoes with garlic sauce are a dream, do not skip on those or you'll regret it! Worth a visit! Read more

I have eaten at many schwarma places. You do not see many reviews from me about these places. You'll notice I gave a five star to this place. From the moment I walked in, it was inviting, clean and wonderful atmosphere. The gentleman that was taking me order was absolutely ... accommodating, polite, and a pleasure. When we received our food it Was truly astounding. The flavors on the plate we're all fantastic. You can tell by the hub of people coming in and out that they all love this place. And I was even told by some in the line up that they love this place. I forgot to take pictures inside because I was so focused on the wonderful meal. But I will tell you the inside of this place is very nicely put together. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of free parking. Keep up the good work! Read more
