Shawarma House - Ottawa, Ontario

It's really a shame. I guess they took over for Shawarma House and changed the name slightly. I placed my order for a family platter over the phone, was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in 15 minutes and they hadn't started yet. They then ... charged me more than was advertised. He seemed shocked but said that I was the 3rd person to say that today. When I pointed out that it was on menuottawa at a lower price, he said "no, no, we can't do that" and just went to the back. To top it off, the packaging leaked all over my SUV. Food was good, but pretty sure it has failed health safety. I mean look at these pictures of their bathroom 🤢🤮

Super disappointing with it after dealing with a very lovely staff and a huge portion of food. Once home dug into the meal and it was very cold and lifeless. Garlic sauce was lacklustre and chicken was cold and overcooked. Frustrating because staff was amazing and the amount of food ... seemed very generous. May try again. Read more

One of the best shawarma place in town. Quality ingredients with good portions. I love bringing some home by ordering the family platter to go. Surrounded by fast food place... if you want a healthy & natural meal at a good cost this is the place.
