Best place to pick up Lebanese style cheese, meat, and Zaataar pies in Ottawa. I have tried many other places that sell Lebanese pies but the gentlemen at Prince Ali know how to do it best. Always warm, fresh and tasty! Service is fast, reliable and great as well.

Sign says open at 8 weekdays. It was open at 7:50 am . So I asked and he said he opens at 7. However the day before I was there at 7 am and It was closed. I asked for meat pie. Noting was in the oven. He said 5 min. ... They were prepared waiting on shelved. He put 3 slabs of spinach pies in the oven and it was 10 minutes later. He had gloves on and used the big dirty black oven mitts with his gloves on. Even wiped the counter with the gloves on. Then was taking orders and using his gloves! The old man would be so disappointed in how he is doing things. I asked if he could wash his hands...and change his gloves. He proceeded to rinse his gloves. Really ?! They do not accept payment via Debit or Visa. They claim that the payment machine will not work to receive money in cash. This argument has become very old, and most pie shops use it to store money in cash.

Love picking up meat pie and cheese pies from this bakery. The pies are always fresh and tasty. They take debit and credit which is nice. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area. I need to venture out and try more items off their menu. The working ... speak Arabic and English. Read more
