I had to write a review mid meal. I grabbed this marinated spicy chicken and lady’s. I put the chicken in the air fryer and I nailed the time. It’s so juicy, full of flavour and absolutely delicious. I had the lady’s for breakfast and it was incredible. The seasoning ... and flavour! Wow. I only wish I lived closer so I could buy more meat! I will definitely be coming by anytime I’m close by. After trying literally every Halal meat shop in Ottawa, I can confidently say that Al-Oumara is the best. They are very clean. Their customers service is top notch. They always give you the piece of meat you want.

This place used to be the best in Ottawa, since they hired few new people with zero customer service experience they started going downhill. Last few times I got old dark ground meat (which means its old), dark steaks and when I asked how old were the steaks I was ... kicked out of the shop! Owner did not care about anything except swiping my card for the transaction. I will never return there and I would not advise anyone else to go especially that they charge more than any other meat shop. So you are paying more to get leftover meat and they would also disrespect you along the way. STAY AWAY! Read more

I BBQ often in parks and have tried to get meat from various shops. This one definitely stood out. The employee asked me for the preferred cut and recommended the Armenian soujok to try. The meat was fresh and delicious. I recommend this meat shop.
