The restaurant is located by dow's lake. They have a nice patio if you want a nice view. But I find the food is overpriced. We ordered grilled chicken fajita and it's mostly onion at the bottom.

During the warm days, the view is amazing near the lake, I love the atmosphere. The food is good, I would recommend to go during the day after a long walk on the park.

The glasses were dirty, and the cutlery was dusty. not something you expect she you pay 25 bucks for 2 tacos. the taste was nice and the portion sizes were decent or bad depending on the dishes. wouldn’t come here again nor would recommend you to go.

This place was so bad it inspired me to start writing reviews again. Main complaints are: the service was exceptionally slow, and we were getting swarmed by bugs even while seated inside. Service: while we did not have to wait long to get seated, it took a long time for anyone to ... come take our order, an even longer time for food to arrive, and an incredibly long time for them to bring the bill. Maybe all this waiting wouldn't have been so bad, except for... Bugs: we were seated inside, not even close to the open door, but there were so many bugs. Bugs were crawling all over our table, flying around our faces, dropping from midair into our plate of food... Made for a terrible dining experience. Food was ok, though I found portion sizes to be on the smaller side. One thing that bothered me was: the fish tacos we ordered came with two tacos, except they clearly fried one piece of fish, cut it in half, and put half a piece of fish into each taco. Really? Also, most of the seating in this restaurant does not actually face across Dow's Lake, so there isn't much of a view to speak of. Read more

Started going here way back in the late 80's ! Still the best Mexican food in Canada. Had the.Taco Salad with Texas Red Chili. Fantastic. Dows Lake is a magic place to dine, it's absolutely amazing at night. This place is a must visit.
