AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The saying a picture is worth a thousand words applies here. For $4 a taco, there isn't much value provided. Bland, a couple shreds of protein, barely any toppings. Save your money and go to Taco Bell or something, you'll get bang for your buck and ... at least there's flavour. I can't imagine how much more stingy they'd be on Taco Tuesdays. Such a disappointment... I had heard great things and went with good expectations of this place but was thoroughly disappointed. Margaritas were nice and delicious. That was the highlight of the supper. Ordered calamaris : batter was just weird and not crispy but the calamaris were not chewy so that's good. Do ... not waste money on that. Guac and chips was good. Tacos were mediocre. Tuna was good just lacking flavor. Beef was absolutely dry. For dessert we tried the churros. They were over cooked or the oil was too hot. They were just so hard it made no sense. The size was nice and the sauce wonderful but a burnt churros is just such a disappointment to end a meal. Go to another Mexican tacos place on Elgin instead. Great food and service, Kirk is my favorite server in Ottawa :D Loved their housemade Iced tea, pork belly taco, and churros. The chocolate spice ice cream was rich but not too sweet. Would definitely come back again to try their other kinds of tacos and get some more churros.
