Ate here last week for the first time and the food was outstanding. The restaurant was very busy, but the wait was very reasonable. The veggie burrito was so tasty and was such a welcome change from the standard ubiquitous burrito chains (which also have their place). A perfect balance ... of flavours without being too rich or heavy. The chipotle salsa and salsa verde were also delicious. The house made horchata might seem expensive at $8, but that mason jar easily serves two.…and it also happens to be phenomenal. Highly recommended. Read more

This has been my go to spot for authentic Mexican 🇲🇽 takeout food for years and it is consistently top notch 👌 Everything is made in house including their wide range of salsas and hot sauces which you can get on the side at no charge! The prices are not ... cheap, but you're paying for the quality and authentic preparation of each item, and beleive me; it's so worth it! 👍😁 You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my favorites are the pork burrito and tacos, with beef as a close second! 🌮🌯 Read more

Oh my gosh, I absolutely loved these gorgeous tacos and sauces at this Byward Market Food Stall destination. The tean was friendly and the food was amazing! You gotta try this Mexican food haven, sooo good! Cheers, Spicy Jan

Very sad and disappointing experience. It used to be my favourite Mexican restaurant. The quantity of food has reduced to a great extent. I ordered large chicken burrito bowl. And this is what I got. Earlier they used to be atleast generous their portion. I will not be ordering from this place again.

I tried this place like ten years ago and remembered how much I loved it. Went back recently and food is still good but the burrito we had lacked flavor. I'm not sure if it was the meat being under seasoned but it didn't have much taste. Tacos are really ... good though. The horchata was also good but very pricey (comes in a mason jar) but I left the mason jar so maybe I was supposed to keep the mason jar hence the price ? Stick to just ordering the tacos. Read more
