I never leave food reviews. Just can’t usually be bothered. This place needs to be shut down. I was shocked when I went in today. Place was empty. Silent. No sign of employees. Finally after 5 minutes of waiting - employee came out of the bathroom, grumbled a few words under ... his breath and then went behind the counter and started singing or praying or something. He did not wear gloves. He did not wear a mask. He was grunting and snorting over my sandwich while he made it. The price was ridiculous for the quality of the food. My biggest mistake was trying to eat some of the good. The potatoes were completely cold and rubbery. The falafels were dry. The whole sandwich tasted funky. I couldn’t eat most of it. Good shawarma for a fair price. The rest of these reviewers are highly butthurt over nothing. I've never had a bad meal here, staff is friendly and the food is well priced & tasty for the portion size. Not the best in the city bit still great.

Potatoes weren't fresh. Chicken was dry. It seems like they don't have enough traffic to keep these fresh.

This place has the worst food. Bland and burnt tasting. Just finished one sandwich and all I could taste was burnt meat. I threw the other in the garbage since I was already across town. I wouldn't even give it to those guys ... panhandling at the corners. Weak garlic sauce and the lettuce they put on my sandwiches was wilted. Definitely no quality control. I should have said something but it was downhill from there. 1st and last time here. Was going to give 2 stars because the place looked clean but how can a shawarma sandwich be that messed up. I wish I would've seen the reviews before choosing to eat here. This place was completely empty at lunch time. I was the only there. I really hate when you're the only customer and they don't take the time to serve you well, what a losing attitude. Anyways, I looked ... at the chicken and it was burnt. I'm not one to say anything. You a chance to serve me well and you choose to serve me the burnt, almost charcoal chicken. The beef wasn't good. The potatoes and rice were ok. I'm crying the money I spent there. Another thing. I chose to eat there. They had the radio on and it wasn't even tuned properly. Left so stressed out because of the annoying and static noises that the radio was doing.
