Teriyaki Experience - Ottawa, Ontario

Got the hot & spicy chicken and asked for one of the loose leaf teas. While the food was good, there wasn't a lot of meat for a 15$ dish. The drink though was mega disappointing, since it was actually just a Lipton green tea box tea. Don't go here.

The meals had no taste and they barely put veggies on the plates. Overpriced meals for the amount of meat, rice and veggies they serve you. Also, the service is horrible and full of attitude.

Got there hot & spicy chicken with yakisoba noodles. Taste was good, but portion was very small for a $15 meal.

Very good and teasty Japanese street food. They prepare the food on the spot and you see exactly what they do. Really good and fresh.

We normally have had not good experience at Teriyaki Experience and Express as I belie it was know before. I have not been to one in years and decided to give it a try once again. Nothing has changed. The operator is more interested in upping your bill than providing you ... good service and food that is palatable and tasty. First charging me wrong even though the menu board said an amount and charging me more. Then when asked if I can get a glass of tap water, she charges me for a bottle of water. I asked for just mixed veggies but gave me tofu and charged me for it. Then the food - had no taste even though it was doused in liquid (which seemed watered down) and still no flavour. The quantity was not even good for half the price I paid ($11+). I would have paid less than $2 for a bagel and would be better. The only good thing was there was enough tofu. Read more
