Kochu - Ottawa, Ontario

We passed by here on the way back from the Tulip Festival in May. I was craving Korean food and I’m so glad we decided to pop in. They have the crispiest croquette in the city!! We also got the Bulgogi Dduckbokki (first time trying this) and the Chicken Mayo Dupbap ... (also a first). Everything was fresh, warm, crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for good fast Korean place to eat, this place is great. Food is good and tasty and service was great. Recommend here for an affordable quick bite.

Their food was fantastic but I received an egg that was completely fried on the bottom, with a hard cooked yolk but still raw egg whites. The bibimbap was fantastic and the chicken and bacon bibimbap was okay.

The sushi menu offers a nice variety of rolls, and I must say, their sushi tastes really good. The friendly service adds to the overall positive experience. Though the seats aren't the most comfortable, it's worth the delicious sushi they serve.

Not 10/10 however, it was great experience. It seems like Take Out and Delivery are their main selling method. But if you wanna dine in, they do have some space for that. The price is reasonable with the food portion. Nice staffs but the dine atmosphere was a little off…..
