The servers are there to hang out together, not to work. Ours, despite having only two tables, was clearly not interested of being there or doing her job. She took our orders for appetizers and left leaving the menus on the table. Never came back to fetch them but she ... happily put the appetizers on top of the large menus covering the table. Never checked if everything was okay. As we were finishing our appetizers, I had to stand up and interrupt the amazing conversation she was having with her 2 colleagues to tell her that we would like to get rid of the menus and order our main course. No knowledge of Italian food either. Pasta was way too thick. I ordered fettuccine but it was more like udon. Restaurant relies on the fact that it is in the market to empty people’s pockets. A change for the worse ..? This place was once amazing! The options were many and flavours not to mention the specials which you only found out when your server came. Not sure when all the changes happened or if it was a result of the pandemic but I would not ... say they had changed for the better. Food: it almost seem like the flavours were not there. The pasta was good texture but the chicken was like it was cooked with no season and hope that the sauce would flavour it. Service: they were good. I would say they did their best. Atmosphere : with a bit of a chill and maybe a bit dimmer than normal. I don’t think there was any music. What was a warm lively place and always packed, is now quiet, chilly, with light on the season taste. Only two maple leaves 🍁🍁for this review. Craving for authentic Italian cuisine, then this place is a must try. We ordered pizza, half Firenze and half margarita pepperoni, and what made their pizza stand out was the crisp thin crust. Pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious. Sat outside for dinner and the ambiance was lovely. A good selection of vegetarian dishes. We ordered the Mediterranean pasta dish & the Milano pasta dish and pleased with what we ordered. Attentive service. Will come back to try their tiramisu!
