House of Lasagna - Ottawa, Ontario

Found this place about a year ago moving back to Ottawa and it is my absolute favourite go to spot. I worked in kitchen’s with similar menus all of my life and I’m a bit of a food snob because of it… I was really missing the food at some ... of the places I’ve worked in and House of Lasagna does the best Italian food in all of Ottawa out of everywhere I’ve found and makes me miss home less. Whoever takes the phones is always so incredibly friendly, their deliveries always arrive sooner than expected or right on time and the food- don’t get me started. Best meatballs I think I’ve ever had. Their sauce is to die for. Has just a little bit of spice to it but just the perfect amount to give it that extra something. The subs are absolutely amazing and so filling. 10/10 for everything on the menu I’ve tried. Also their phone number is probably the easiest thing in the world for me to remember because I was born in Ottawa (613) my birthday is 7/28 and I was born in ‘97 (funny coincidence) and I honestly love it Keep up the amazing work House of Lasagna! Just a gem in Ottawa merivale area. This place is family owned and they have the best lasagna special

We were a group of 14 senior bowling group. We called ahead because of size of group. We were greeted by very pleasant family. The buns were hot & & toasted individually with butter. The service was fast & well organized. We were given take-out ... boxes since servings were so large. All in all a very good experience. we will certainly be back. Read more

As soon as you walk in, the smell makes you even more hungry for the food! The staff is very nice and kid friendly. The food was very delicious, my husband and daughter had lasagna and I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, both were very well put together and was still ... hot when I got home. First time ever. Brought 2 seniors. It was perfect. Even though no one chose Italian, the Canadian cuisine was awesome. Fresh, tasty and abundant. Fish n chips, were made perfectly.
