Best Italian sandwich in Canada. Huge portion of meat and toppings. No where to sit but there's a cute park across the street. It suits the vibe anyways. Cash only. Sando is $10 including tax.

The definition of a hidden gem. Tucked away inside a corner store in residential Little Italy is a counter that produces the finest sandwiches. The experience has always involved choosing your bun, handing it to the master craftsman while stating a number from the menu and any provisions ... (no cheese, heavy mayo etc). One more step to your right and you pay cash--I'm not sure of the current price it has gone up slowly and reasonably over the decades. As fast as you pocket your change you find that the exact buns you handed the gentleman 15 seconds ago are now the sandwiches you ordered and ready to go, wrapped in cellophane and packed with care. They are absolutely amazing sandwiches. World class. The best service. Everyone there knows that they are making the absolute finest product and is shows.
