Boston Pizza - Ottawa, Ontario

We were delighted with our experience there yesterday. We celebrated our mother’s 103rd birthday with about 30 people. The owners surprised us and had her space decorated with balloons and even gave her a gift because this was such a special birthday. Our server, Fran actually ran the whole time ... we were there. My wife and I had a fantastic evening at this Boston Pizza a month ago. We enjoyed their wings, beer, and cheese nachos. The food was great, and the service was excellent. The place is I think recently renovated and reopened.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and it took an hour and a half to get our main meals. Our garlic parmesan fries had a beard hair in it, and when I brought it up to a passing waiter he said oh yeah ... there is someone with a beard working in the kitchen its probably his. We received a fresh plate of fries but the manager didn't even bother to come see us to apologize for this mistake, it's not about getting a discount or anything but being acknowledged about the disgusting hair in our food and the slow service would have been appreciated. I gave 1 extra star because our waitress( when we did get the chance to see her) was friendly. Will not be returning and would not recommend unfortunately. Read more

Amazing service by Tara G we went in on Feb 26 for a surprise birthday dinner for my brother. It was amazing how above and beyond our server went. She pulled all the blinds down so he didn’t see us all. She suggested to record his reaction even offered to ... film. My absolute best part was she actually paid attention to my son, asking if his food was good ,if he was happy, if he needed a refill. Just 10/10 service!! The food was amazing to I had so much left over. Definitely recommend. Read more

The service was good. This location has lots of seating and a good bar area. The food came as expected. No complaints
