You never really know how good a restaurant is until you've eaten there a few times. Each visit to Aperitivo has been great! They have plenty of excellent sharing dishes that get changed up regularly to keep things fresh. Without a doubt I will be going back!

Driving from downtown to Kanata is not my favorite thing to do, but for Aperitivo, it’s a trip worth making. Tucked away in the Kanata Centrum Shopping Centre, this restaurant, though a bit tricky to find, offers a dining experience that’s truly satisfying. It’s a small spot, so reservations are a ... smart move to guarantee a table. Aperitivo’s atmosphere strikes a balance between cozy and modern. The decor combines rustic charm with contemporary touches, creating a space that’s both inviting and stylish. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable settling in for a good meal. The menu at Aperitivo isn’t extensive, but each dish is well-crafted. The freshness of the seafood was evident, making for a great start to the meal. Dessert at Aperitivo is a must-try. I went for the Bunuelos, which came highly recommended by our server. It was a simple yet one of the freshest deserts in a long time, and a satisfying end to the meal. The service at Aperitivo is friendly and efficient. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions without being overbearing. The staff’s genuine enthusiasm for the food and the restaurant added to the overall positive experience. Despite its small size and somewhat hidden location, Aperitivo is a restaurant that stands out. The food is delicious, the desserts are freshly made, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It’s a place I’d be happy to visit again, even if it means making the drive from downtown. So, if you’re in the area, or willing to make the trip, Aperitivo is definitely worth a try. I’m a foodie. Been to many a good restaurant. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. Delicious, beautiful, creative hand made food. Service is top notch. A gem that one should all come and dine at. If you love small plates, mouth watering dishes, knowledgeable pleasant staff, great ambience and intimate settings then you MUST come here. I came here with another friend and we loved the evening. There is nothing to say negative about ... this place. We were greeted as soon as we entered and attended to immediately. We had this restaurant on the list for years and tonight we finally enjoyed the sharing plates dinner menu. The foccacia and pomme aligot were to die for, both had elements of traditional and unique. Everything was extremely fresh. We felt like we ate quite a bit and didn't ... feel stuffed on the way out, excellent quality food for the price. Cardamom cake was light and full flavoured. Read more
